    Color Grading

I used this shot to put my character designing and world building skills to the test. The most difficult part of this shot was the color grading and shade matching with the rest of the shot.

    Rotoscoping

This shot was a study of how accurately I can rotoscope a subject. I used many different techniques to create a shot that is true to the perspective of the camera angle. Some dificulties I ran into were the timing between when the actor stands up and when to reveal what was underneath.

    Motion Targeting

Rotoscoped the fire and animated it according to the pace of the actor. tracked the animation to a set point on the actor and edited the motion to adhere to the camera movements.

    Character Movement

This shot was a little more ambitious than the last rotoscoped shot becuase it had a lot more moving parts. The two characters had a lot of movement for a short amount of time so I had to figure out a way to match the tempo of the characters to the pace of the shot. Figuring out the frame rate between the live action shot and the CG element was the toughest part.

    Sound Project

This project does not have many vfx elements but instead tells a compelling story. Using only sounds and no dialogue. The basis of this story follows a character that live next to a serial killer. The victim has been rotoscoped to have a variety of backgrounds. The inspiration for this project came from Dhamer, which is a masterful piece of cinema.

    Motion Tracking

This was the most ambitious shot I attempted in this class. Having multiple elements to rotoscope and track was a very confusing and daunting task. I had some trouble accurately tracking the elements according to the complicated camera moves as well.
